1. Check Reception: Make sure your mobile reception and data are strong when you arrive. Poor reception can happen in remote areas or basements.
2. Test Internet Speed: Type “Internet Speed” into Google, then click the grey “Test Speed” button to check your internet speed.
3. Prepare in Advance: Check your connection 10 minutes before your interview. Then, 5 minutes before, connect with an interpreter and provide a bit of background on the role so they’re ready.
4. Wi-Fi Consideration: Local Wi-Fi may be slow or blocked by corporate settings, so use your data if needed.
