I'm using Convo Australia on my mobile phone, does it use up my call minutes or data?

Want to use the Convo AU app on your mobile phone? You can, but remember that it will use your internet data on your home internet and/or phone plan. It will not use your call minutes on your phone plan.

Depending on your device settings, your data usage will be between 250mb to 900mb per hour.

We recommend that your use wifi connections where possible as long as your internet connection is fast enough for video calls. If you do not have access to fast internet over wifi, it is recommended that you use either 4G or 5G mobile internet connection on your smart device with at least 2 bars of service or better.

For the best experience, we recommend a minimum speed of 8 Mbps downloads / 1.5 Mbps upload. If lower, this will impact your video and audio quality. Your internet connection also needs to be stable to keep you connected properly.
